Tony Waters made it known that he belongs in the conversation as one of the toughest point guard prospects in a loaded NC 2021 class. During the SE All-Freshman Invitational Tony proved to be a pure floor general. He found open teammates in half court sets but also knew when to attack his defender to get to the rim.When getting into the paint, Tony was able to finish in a multitude of different ways and kept constant pressure on the defense with his basketball IQ. North Mecklenburg HS has one of the strongest 4A basketball programs in the state of NC and Tony Waters will be the one running the show in the near future. We will be sure to continue tracking his progression closely.
