Love him or hate on him, there's no other kid at the NEO Youth Elite National Showcase who packed the stands like the nationally recognized phenom Julius Newman. With his tight, mind-boggling handles and his extremely competitive spirit, Julius took on every contender looking to knock him off the top of the mountain. Noticeably stronger than the last time we laid eyes on him, Newman not only continued to drain his long range jumper, but he was able to, and sometimes look forward to, taking the bump and finishing through contact. If Julius Newman continues to train with the same intensity he has in previous years, you can expect the naysayers who point to his height as an obstacle to recant their story and say how they knew he would be a great prospect.
