Isaiah “Ike” Cornish is a kid that we heard good things about and was eager to lay our eyes on. One thing that stood out immediately is his length for a guard. With his handle on the rock, athleticism, and extremely long arms, Ike was a matchup problem all weekend long. He was too big for most guards and too quick for most wings trying to guard him on the perimeter. This lead to time and time again Ike getting to the middle and creating offensive opportunities for him and his teammates. What made him an even more threat was he could also knock down the perimeter jump shot. Ike is a kid that, along with super guard Ryan Conway, will make a good case for Dulaney HS as the front runner in young talented duos in the DMV region.
