Now that BJ Freeman is in the class of 2021, the top heavy landscape in NC just got tougher. We have been telling you about the 6’4 wing for the past couple of seasons and yet he still seemed to fly under other’s legit radar. Well that should change as BJ performed like a true competitor. Every big matchup BJ faced he was relentless in proving he’s up for the challenge. He handled the ball solidly and did a good job creating his own opportunities to score. He’s at his best when he’s getting to the rim because he can finish or use his exceptional court vision to find the open teammate. There are two areas we will be looking to see him improve, one being his shot selection and the other is to keep his attack mentality on relentless regardless of who’s playing in front of him. Now playing on a national schedule at Word of God Christian Academy, you can expect his level of play to increase and colleges to start taking notes.
