BJ Freeman is a kid we've been screaming has a deep upside every since he had a good showing at the 2016 SE All-Freshman Invitational, followed by another one at this year's Super 60 Showdown. What was noticeable at the NEO Youth Elite National Showcase was BJ is more and more showcasing his ability to handle the rock, not only from the wing but also as the primary ball-handler. With good size but average athleticism, BJ relies on his skillset, his deceptive handles, nice passing ability, and probably most importantly his motor, which has always been normally high, to separate himself from the pack. If BJ continues to polish up on his positives and work to knock down his jumper consistently he could increasingly be the name most overlooked.
