Alex has that quiet, deceptive demeanor that is far from his realistic court prowess. Playing on the same team as the highly popular Julian Newman and the highly ranked Brison Waller, Alex showed he wasn't intimated and had no plans of taking a back seat. With his shifty handles, quick combination dribbles, precise transition passing, and his in-traffic athletic finishes, Alex took the opportunity to build a name for himself. More than once he crossed players up to get to the rim and finished the play with a dime or a bucket. He even displayed a nice step-back jumper he drained with an expect-to-go-in confidence. He's definitely a kid we want to keep up with over the next few seasons.
