Veron Carey is arguably the most dominating power forward in high school basketball. This kid’s size, grace, and footwork are not found in too many bigs on any level of basketball. Add in the fact he can stretch the defense beyond the arc, while still controlling the boards with the capability of leading the break off a rebound, and you can easily see why he’s so highly touted. Kentucky, Michigan State, Duke, UNC, and Kansas are just a few of the schools doing everything in their power to secure a commitment from Mr. Carey. One thing is for certain, we expect Veron to have an instant impact once stepping onto whatever campus he decides to go to.
