Russell Jones Jr may be small but this young man has a big presence on the court. He showed his ability to handle the ball soundly in traffic, under pressure, all the while keeping his head up. This allowed him to find his open teammates all night long. Russell is truly the definition of a pass-first point guard. Defensively he was challenging as well, seeming as though he was on the best defender for Richland Northeast all night. Russell finished the game with 12 points and 8 assists in a 40-31 victory.
