Nicole Melious continues to prove she’s one of New York’s top guards. We watched her in more detail at the ASGR Individual Showcase and walked away with a couple of observations. Sporting a much leaner body, she has deceptive speed and a crafty handle, along with an extremely efficient hesitation dribble. Nicole uses her IQ to see plays develop and a keen eye to deliver in the slightest openings in the defense. A scorer by nature, she finishes well with either hand in the paint and can consistently knock it down from anywhere on the floor. We will next see Nicole at the Fresh Outta Middle School Invitational in Raleigh October 12-13th.
