Kayla Martin’s defense was her best offense. With very active hands and stealth instincts that allowed her to jump the passing lanes numerous times, Kayla was one of the most noticeable defenders in attendance at the ASGR Individual Showcase in Westchester, New York. Her work ethic and competitive will to win made up for whatever advantage more skilled opponents may have had. For that reason Kayla earned herself an invitation to the Fresh Outta Middle School Invitational.
