Messiah Hunter first caught our attention as she ran the opposition down to stop the ball. Her quickness and speed were very impressive all weekend. She had a large presence on the floor, and although quiet, played bigger than her small frame. Messiah has a scorer’s mentality, but when guarded too closely she found ways to thread the needle and get the ball to the best possible answer for a bucket. She never seemed to get frazzled and led with her movements. Messiah already has offers from many BCS schools and looks like she’s just really getting started.
