Ava O’Neil had a very strong weekend. The little fireball was a consistent floor general who possesses a very high IQ for her age, in which allowed her to create for herself when the opportunity presented itself. She consistently kept her teammates involved, making crisp passes, smart decisions, and running her team as a true point guard. Her ability to guard the other team’s guards with a sense of urgency, creating turnovers, was quite impressive. This youngster definitely deserves an invitation to the 2020 Hot 100 Girls Middle School Showcase.
