One of my favorite youngsters at the NEO Youth Elite Showcase was a kid by the name of Mateo Madina. When it comes to the handles, this little baller got the sauce. From his hesi-moves to his change of pace, from his crossovers to his in-and-outs, Mateo left defenders in quicksand all game long. He was able to get into the paint and did a solid job of kicking it out to the open man. Although he will need to work on his decision-making, especially in the open floor, that will usually progress as his body and mind matures.
