It was obvious to see why Madison “Maddy” Mims walked away with Best Defense for the Hot 100 Girls Middle School Showcase Junior Division. When she locked in on an opponent it was almost impossible for them to get comfortable or into an offensive flow. When she wasn’t using her defense to spark her offense, she was utilizing a quick first step to blow by defenders and get to the basket.
