Laney Beale is a super talented floor general that makes the right plays at the right times. She is a high IQ guard that knows when to push the pace or to slow it down. What immediately stood out to us was how well she moved without the ball. She would work hard to get open so she could bury the three. And if she wasn’t shooting herself, she was creating plays for her teammates for easy buckets or setting screens, freeing them up to pop out for open looks. We first saw Laney during the season on her high school’s team, but in the AtlanticCoast Classic she showed us her whole repertoire.
