As we’ve stated before, Team Thad 2023 has a very strong group of girls who made their way to the finals of the Deep South Classic, and Aniya Price is another key reason why. This long shooting guard was a mood killer for the opposition because she took the air out of their surge, just by knocking down the jumper or applying some of the most intense defensive pressure they have probably ever faced. Aniya used her length and lateral side movements to pick pockets numerous times, almost always leading to transition opportunities.
