Tommy Bruner is an essential piece of a very tough Gray Collegiate team that are expected to be serious contenders for a state title. During the championship of the Chick-Fil-A Classic, he didn't mind taking on the challenge on defense of guarding the opposing team’s best player while still managing to be a contributing factor on the glass. Tommy was quick but didn’t rush. He picked his opportunities in the flow of the offense but did struggle somewhat to knock down some good looks. However that didn't deter him from giving maximum effort, he found other ways to score and get his teammates involved. Tommy Bruner is a kid that has so far not quite been given his just due respect recruitment wise, but if he keeps it up at this pace coaches will notice and that all will change.
