In only the 6th grade and standing 5’10, Sky Donaie must have seemed like a giant to her smaller opponents. She is clearly in the development stage of learning her timing, footwork, and how to properly position herself to receive the pass. However, it was evident Sky goes hard in the paint and has a solid skillset already for the average girl with a similar stature her age. We absolutely loved her energy as well. Sky didn’t depend on her height alone either, she was quite active around the basket and ran the floor extremely well, looking for opportunities to clean up missed layups. Sky Donaie is yet another prospect from the Carolina Flames organization with tremendous upside.
