The first thing that jumped out to the GetMeRecruited staff about freshman Raven Johnson was her poise. The youngest on a 16U team playing in the 17U bracket of the Deep South Classic, Raven never seemed to get too rattled while matched up against tough, more experienced opposing point guards. She’s quick and very crafty with the rock and used those skills to lure the defense into positions she wanted so as to open up space for her teammates.
