The big man with the sole responsibility for holding it down in the middle for the Dream Team Phenoms is 6’7 Qua Bennamon. With a multi-faceted game that includes a combination of finesse and strength, Qua did a very good job of providing a versatility that was somewhat of a challenge for opposing post players at the AlwaysLive Exposure Hoopfest. Qua used an array of low block moves around the rim, like a quick spin move that most defenders didn’t react quick enough to. He’s also a strong rebounder and defender in the paint. Having just turned 17 with a 3.2 GPA and extremely upside and growth remaining, Qua will be relocating very soon to the Atlanta area so we’re sure programs in the region will be jockeying for this kid to improve their frontcourt.
