Coming all the way from the small town of Florence, Alabama, Jamarcus Robinson came ready to gauge his game against other class of 2021 hoopers from across the country at the SE All-Freshman Invitational. Jamarcus first caught our eye at the Birmingham Invitational a few months ago where he completely changed the course of a game with his hot shooting, so we knew of his capabilities. In the first couple of games Jamarcus, like many others with not much showcase experience, played timid and got lost in the action. But once he got comfortable with the flow he began to assert his unlimited range jumper. Although he may have not had the performance he would have liked, the experience will not only help his confidence but will be especially helpful in his overall development. He now has an advantage of knowing what the national competition looks like and what he needs to improve in order to compete at that level. I’m sure this will not be the last we see of Jamarcus Robinson.
