Jalvin Mitchell is a long, athletic post player who accounts for one half of the New Orleans Wolves rim protectors. Defensively he hustled and contested every shot in the painted area. He was extremely active on the glass, giving his squad multiple second chance opportunities to score. Offensively Jalvin showed some finishes that were impressive, like the way he repeatedly caught the defense sleeping and used the rim as a shield for the reverse layup on the baseline. We suspect several regional schools could use this kid so we advise them to reach out and take a look.
