Imani Lester is considered by many to be the best freshman in the state of North Carolina and here’s why. Having a post player with her size, versatility, and skillset at such an early age is extremely rare. Her paint game is incredible; from knowing exactly how to get proper position, to using multiple moves like up-and-unders, baby hooks, and power drop-steps that make her hard to contend with. Imani forces bigs that may not be comfortable on the wing to have to step out because she’s a very accurate shooter. With plenty of high majors already hurling scholarships her way, Imani will have the pick of the litter when it’s time for the next chapter in her career.
