Scottie Barnes had his full package going over the holiday break as we caught him leading his team to championships in two of the nation’s top high school tournaments, the City of Palms Classic and the John Wall Holiday Invitational. This small forward can kill you in a multitude of different ways with his length and athleticism. However, it's his skillset that separates him from other wings in his class. His ability to get the ball off the glass, push it coast-to-coast for a major slam through traffic, or keeping his eyes up while using his strong handle from the perimeter to make the right basketball play made him so dominant at times. He was rewarded with winning MVP honors of the 45th Annual City of Palms Classic. Scottie is currently being recruited heavily by Florida, Syracuse, Kansas, Oregon, Miami, Florida St, and LSU but we’re sure there will be more to come.
