Although Anjanae Richardson was the smallest player on the floor she was no pushover by any means. In fact, the shifty guard with the deadly crossover managed to break big ankles during the NTBA Nationals in Myrtle Beach. She was also effective in her offensive attack, sometimes by launching an on-target three, and at other times splitting defenders to get to the paint where she regularly dropped dimes. But her heart is what we loved. In one play in particular, we watched her get the ball stripped by a girl twice her size, but then run down the recipient of the potential uncontested layup to block the shot.
