CLASSIC

C. Johnson | 2021 (Fairfax Stars)

Played extremely hard on both ends of the floor.  He can shoot long range and has the ability to put it on the floor and get to the rim.  He was very instrumental in the win for his team on Sunday.

Luke Finkbeiner| 2019 |6’0” |SG (Triple Attack)

Has perfect form on his shot and was almost perfect from multiple spots on the floor.  He was deadly behind the 3-point line.  He played aggressive defense and was able to use his dribble to set up the offense.

Marcel White |2019| 6’5” |PF (Triple Attack, Wakefield School)

Plays both ends of the floor.  Was able to use his length to intercept passes and go in for the easy bucket.  He has a high elevation and finishes at the rim.

Reed Pendleton | 2021 |5’11”| SG (Twin Hoops)

He is by far one of the better shooters in attendance. There was no answer for his ability to knock down the 3, even when closely guarded.  He ran the floor and put him or his teammates in position to score.

Aidan Filippini|2023| 5’8”| CG (Jay Hawks Elite)

He is an athletic guard who hustles, uses his quick hands in the passing lane to grab the steal.  He has a high IQ and was very creative with his passing.

Jared Jackson | 2022 | (Jay Hawks Elite)

Cameron Walker | 2022 | PG | (Jay Hawks Elite)

He may have been the shortest player on the court, but he played BIG.  He is a small, quick athletic guard that used his ball handling skills to keep defenders off balance.  He used different maneuvers to gain separation and was able to dish to his teammates with some wild no look passes.

Nazareth Lee| 2022 |6’2” | PF (Higher Level Elite)

He was all over the place for his team.  Maintained composure, rebounds the ball well and can score from different spots on the floor.  He can finish at the rim with contact and is able to pull the ball out and stretch the defense.  He has nice form on his shot, he should make a difference at the next level.  We will be watching.

Aneis Lyons| 6’1”| W |(Junior, Fredericksburg Premier) twitter: @_aneislyons_

He is a very athletic guard with a high IQ.  His ability to find the open player was second to none.  He has a smooth in & out move which created separation from his defender and allowed him to get to the rack.

Myles McCray | 2019 |6’2”| SF | (Fredericksburg Premier)

He is a strong body that muscled his way through smaller defenders to finish at the rim.  He rebounds well and elevated above defenders for easy putbacks.  He hustles and played hard the entire weekend.

He was very effective down the stretch.  He has a nice shot, can shoot from beyond the arc and will follow his shot.  He hustles and plays both ends of the floor.

Ian Anderson | 2019 | 6’7” | PF  |(LBA Attack)

He is a MONSTER on the boards.  Always appeared to be in the right position to rebound, find the open man and hustle down court.  His ability to put the ball on the floor and go coast to coast while finishing in traffic was very impressive. He is also scholar student with a 3.9 GPA and is looking to go Ivy League. He is interested in Holy Cross or Princeton.  Either team, he would be a catch for.

Dezmond Hopkins | 2024  | (Nova Kings)

He has a strong body which allows him to finish through contact.  He hustles down court and times his blocks extremely efficiently.  He moves his feet on defense.  Can play down low in the paint and showed off his reverse layup which he consistently made.

Jaiden Ogelsby | 2024 | (Nova Kings)

He is an athletic guard who is very active on defense.  He can shoot the 3 and fills the lane in transition.

Shaun Farmer | 2024 | (Nova Kings)

Athletic guard who has a natural ability to see the floor on the defensive end.  He was known for picking pockets or thinking ahead to the next pass and timing the steals. He is able to go coast to coast and finish.

Riley Jacobs | 2024 | (Nova Kings)

He is a big who can run the floor.  He has nice size, rebounds well and can score on the block.  He was a big presence down the stretch in the championship game, as he was always in position to score.  He positioned himself to get good blocks on the defensive end.  Should be fun to watch him develop.

Very smart player, had a knack for knowing when to press up on weaker players for the easy steal and transition bucket.  She was able to go coast to coast and finish at the rim with contact.

Deja Rhodes | 2020 | 5’5” | G | (Edge Basketball)

She is a pure shooter.  Has nice form and elevation on her shot.  She has great court vision and found the open lady with ease.  She isn’t afraid to mix it up and crash the boards.

Trinity Epps| 2021 | 5’7”| G | (Edge Basketball)

Angel Jones | 2022|  5’2” |PG | (Edge Basketball)

She was extremely impressive playing up two grade levels and able to handle her own.  She has an explosive first step with nice shooting form.  Her crossover is ridiculous, combined with her stepback, she left the crowd in awe.  Despite her size, her speed and skillset make up for it all!
