Robert "Trey" Scruggs

The Virginia native brings 15+ years of basketball experience to the GetMeRecruited team. Robert’s involvement in youth sports began while in college as a top assistant coach for Squires Richmond, the countries 1st grassroots program to receive sponsorship from a major shoe company. After receiving his BS in Sports Marketing from Virginia State University in 2008, Robert worked full time for the program as an assistant coach and the program’s regional scout director. In his tenure with the Squires, Robert had the pleasure of coaching and developing several future NBA draft picks, Quincy Miller, Justin Anderson, Michael Gbinije and Devin Robinson, a host of college athletes at all levels and a few NFL players. As one of the founding members of GetMeRecruited, Robert uses his basketball industry acumen coupled with his marketing background to help continue to deliver the GetMeRecruited Experience at a National level.
